The European Territorial Co-operation

European Territorial Co-operation will be implemented with 3 types of operational programmes:

1. Trans-border co-operation, aimed at developing common local and regional initiatives
2. Trans-national co-operation, related to the territorial integration of UE through supporting availability, the development of urban areas, innovativeness and environmental protection.
3. Inter-regional co-operation, enabling experience exchange and the best patterns in the range of innovativeness and economy based on knowledge as well as environmental protection.

In every project in the frameworks of trans-border and trans-national co-operation there have to be partners from at least 2 countries, including at least one from a member country of the EU.

In case of inter-regional co-operation  there have to be beneficiaries from at least 3 regions in 3 the EU member countries or 3 regions from which at least 2 are situated in 3 the EU member countries if a beneficiary is out from the EU.
The whole programme is financed from the European Regional Development Fund (the ERDF).
